NLK-Seoul Research Institute Agreement Ceremony

In the 15th (Wed), the NLK (Chief Executive Suh Hye-ran) signed an MOU with the Seoul Research Institute (director Park Hyung-soo) for exchange and cooperation in the field of knowledge information resource sharing and information service for the public.
Through the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate in the following areas – preserve materials of historical value and provide them to the public, digitize and jointly use audio visual materials of territorial landscape such as slide films etc., exchange academic activities and information like research cooperation, holding seminars etc.
In particular, the agreement was implemented as the two institutions agreed to cooperate on digitization, database construction and provision of service to the public in regards with the territorial landscape Professor Choi Jong-hyun donated to the NLK through Seoul Research Institute.
NLK Chief Executive Suh Hye-ran explained that “Through mutual cooperation of the two institutions, we will not just be able to collect and preserve materials on the history of Seoul more systematically, but more people will be able to utilize them.”
