Great figures in Korea
Goryeo Dynasty was ruled by Buddhism. Since the three Kingdom’s period, the status of Buddhism as a representative of the spirit of people was stronger. During this period, the reform process to integrate Glioma and Zen continued while Samguksagi and Samgukyusa were the oldest extant historical records in Korea which were written. In the later part of Goryeo Dynasty, Confucianism was handed down from Yuan Dynasty and it made a considerable impact on the inTELectual hierarchy.
