Export Promotion and the Korean Economy
The exhibitions before the KOTRA’s foundation in 1962 served as a venue for the enhancement of diplomatic relationships with other countries and national promotions. Entrusted with overseas exhibitions as its major role, KOTRA started participating in overseas exhibitions and holding domestic professional exhibitions by which it makes the best use of exhibitions to pioneer new markets for enhancing exports.
