Korean History in the Eyes of the Dokdo
Beginning with French sailing directions, we will examine at the variations in Dokdo's name over time using historical maps and documents from around the world. We will also look at the longstanding problem with Japan over Dokdo and investigate the holes in Japan's logic in order to arrive at the strategies needed to solve the Dokdo issue.
