Introduction
National Library of Korea is South Korea’s one and only library with conservators and facilities. With increasing inquiries and proposals from other libraries concerning resource preservation, we have been holding preservation workshops since 2007, where trainees visit our library to attend theoretical and practical sessions on resource preservation. We also rate their preservation environment for customized resource preservation programs. Since 2014 Korea Center has expanded workshop sessions into various materials and it has opened a regular course 『Presrevation and Conservation of Library materials』 in the Librarian training program in the National Library of Korea. IFLA PAC Korea Center will keep developing various education resources to enhance the importance of preservation.
