    Old Collection Donation Exhibition in Celebration of the 1st Library Day

    국립중앙도서관은 4월 12일(수) ‘제1회 도서관의 날’을 맞이하여 도서관 본관 5층 고문헌실에서는 4월 12일(수)부터 내년 3월 31일(일)까지 2023년도 고문헌 기증전시 ‘기억과 나눔’을 연다.
    2023년도 기증전시는 2022년에 고문헌을 기증해주신 분들 16명을 선정하여, 기증 자료 530종 985점 중 대표적 자료를 선보이고 감사의 마을을 전하고자 기획되었다.

    이번 전시는 국립중앙도서관 본관 5층 고문헌실 안 전시실에서 4월 12일(수)부터 내년 3월 31일(일)까지 열린다. 전시대 뒤로 정조 책가도 병풍이 보인다.

    여기 16명의 기증이야기에는 기증자 본인이 한평생 수집한 자료에 더해 아버지, 할아버지, 할머니, 증조부와 몇 대조 선조 및 중시조까지 거슬러 올라가 다양한 지식의 역사와 삶이 기록되어 있다.
    도서관의 날 지정을 기념하여 국립중앙도서관에서 개최하는 이번 기증전시를 통해 선조들의 뜻을 기억하고 여러분들과 나누고자 한다. 책이 하늘에서 아래로 쌓이는 이 작품은 기증문고가 산처럼 쌓이고 하늘 높이만큼 상승한다는 의미를 가진다.
    과거 선조들의 놀이였던 쌍육놀이판으로 옛 사람들의 놀이문화를 기억한다는 의미이다.

    On April 12(Wed), celebrating the 1st Library Day, the NLK held various events in and out of the library including library camp participation, the NLK preservation storage special tour etc.

    From April 12(Wed) to March 31(Sun) next year, the 2023 old collection donation exhibition ‘Memories and Sharing’ is held at the Old Collections Room on the 5th floor of the library’s main building. It is an event presenting representative donated materials including the manuscript etc. by selecting 16 old collection donators of last year. It was arranged to remember the ancestors’ lives and share the donators’ intention with the public through the exhibition.
