On September 29, NLK(Chief Executive Suh, Hye Ran) held the <8th Librarians’ Festival – 15 Minutes that Change the Library! Workshop> at the International Conference Room. The Librarians’ Festival 2021 was held in accordance with covid-19 prevention measures, with minimum number of on-site participants. The workshop was broadcasted live throughout the country via NLK Youtube channel. At the Librarians’ Festival 2021, videos created by librarians on libraries, books and librarians, submitted before the festival, were presented and put on vote to grant the NLK Chief Executive’s Award to the winner. In the <8th Librarians’ Festival – 15 Minutes that Change the Library! – My Story as a Librarian>, 5 librarians participated from various libraries including national, public, university, military and school library and gave presentation. The 5 librarians’ presentations are - by librarian Gal Yoon Joo of the National Library of Korea, by librarian Yang Woo Jin of the Eunpyeong District Library, by librarian Hyun Myung Sup of Chung-Ang University Central Library of Seoul Campus, by Choi Young Woong major of the Ministry of National Defense and by librarian & teacher Kim Hye Yeon of Incheon Ganghwa Girls’ Highschool. Also, a book-talk with writer Jeong Yoo Jeong of , her new novel in 2021, and a culture art lecture – Da Vinci and Michelangelo> by professor Jeon Won Kyung were held.
